)-- Rodeo Drive in partnership with the City of Beverly Hills and local partners, The Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, The Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau and NEXT Beverly Hills Committee, are pleased to bring you the second annual BOLD Summer campaign on August 2 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. by closing down the 200 and 300 blocks of Rodeo Drive to traffic. Guests can enjoy extended hours from their favorite retailers, experience live performances by multigenerational artists Project M and jazz group The Amanda Castro Band, a spectacular fireworks show, a beautiful 208 Champagne Garden, bites of local flavor and delicious food trucks, and so much more. LED glow sticks will light up the palm tree-lined street as guests capture the night with Rodeo Drive’s first-ever video booth and soon to be revealed #BOLDBH Social Art Installation.
Following the highly anticipated kickoff block party, Rodeo Drive will remain the “place to be” every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night starting August 2 - August 25. Step into a world with larger than life floral pop-ups, pose for a high fashion illustration brought to you by FIDM and Project Runway’s Nick Verreos, experience live painting performances that bring art to the forefront on iconic Rodeo Drive; these are just a few of the surprises Rodeo Drive has in store for this BOLD summer.
In the month long celebration, Rodeo Drive will come alive with DJ performances every Friday and Saturday nights from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. by DJ Reprise, “She-J” Nikki Pennie, DJ Potira, Future Proof, and DJ Michelle Pesce. Guests will dine on delicious treats from food trucks lining the 200 block, take photos in the new artistic photo installation and much more.
Off Rodeo Drive, join in on BOLD activities taking place around the City such as: live jazz in Beverly Cañon Gardens with musician Serafia on August 3, 10 and 17, live paintings by artist Alexa Meade on August 4 and 18, BOLD Rides in luxury cars on Saturday evenings, a kids dance party on August 11, roaming musical performances and more.
This summer, BOLD will end with a block party event, Next Night, on August 25 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on South Beverly Drive, between Gregory Way and Charleville Boulevard.
