Englewood, CO, November 01, 2018 --(PR.com)-- It’s that time of year where the air gets cooler and the beards get longer. November has long been known as the month for men’s health awareness, and this year Swedish Medical Center is helping raise awareness of prostate cancer.

The level one trauma center will host a shave off event on Friday, November 2 in the main lobby of the hospital. Physicians, nurses, patients and visitors are encouraged to shave off their beards, then grow it back during the month of November for prostate cancer awareness.

· This event is free and open to the public
· Shaving begins at 10AM and will continue until 2PM
· Donations to the TUCC Foundation are encouraged
· Complimentary valet is available and snacks and treats will be provided
