)-- AD1 Global’s founding members traveled to Chile this past March to host a breakfast conference for investors in an effort to expand their ventures and introduce AD1 to the Chilean market. CEO Daniel Berman was accompanied by Executive Vice President Arie Fridzon and CFO Alex Fridzon.
“The event in Chile was a great success,” said Berman. “We established strong connections and learned a great deal about the Chilean market and the international market as a whole.”
Around 140 investors from Chile, Luxembourg, Belgium, Spain and Switzerland were in attendance March 11 at the Intercontinental Santiago hotel in Santiago, Chile. The conference was hosted in partnership with Hotel Investment Group, a joint-venture investment group between Chile and Luxembourg. In December 2018, AD1 Global and Hotel Investment Group joined forces to acquire a $103.5 million portfolio of 5 hotels located in prime cities across the southeastern United States.
“After a successful joint acquisition effort this past December, we were pleased to co-host such an exciting conference with AD1 Global,” said Andres Schachner from Hotel Investment Group. “We’re already discussing future projects.”
The conference marks AD1 Global’s first stop on what they hope will be a multiple-country tour in the months to come. Their goal is to introduce themselves as a company, present upcoming projects and investment opportunities, and consequently establish strong relationships with companies across the globe.
AD1 Global is very active in the international investor community. With three EB-5-approved projects currently in the works, the company counts on many international investors to finance their developments. These upcoming EB-5 funded projects include a dual-branded Aloft and Element development near SeaWorld in Orlando; a Home2 Suites by Hilton and Hyatt Place development in Palm Bay, Florida that also includes retail space and restaurants; and a Tru by Hilton in Dania Beach, Florida.
“As we continue to grow as a company, we want to find new ways to reach a larger and more diverse group of people,” said AD1 Global CEO Daniel Berman. “This will hopefully be the first of many international groups.”
AD1 Global’s portfolio has quickly expanded to now include 20 hotels, including internationally recognized brands such as Hilton, Marriott, and Wyndham. The company is actively engaged in finding new acquisitions. For more information, please visit www.ad1global.com
