Florence, SC, April 04, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The 34th annual South Carolina Sports Classic (SCSC) State Games is a two weekend competition and will be held May 8-11 and May 17-18 at Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. This National Senior Games Association sanctioned event offers 27 major sports open competition including: Tennis, Golf, Road Race, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Cycling, Track & Field, Archery, Billiards, Bowling, Swimming, Basketball, Pickleball, Raquetball, Horseshoes, Shuffleboard, Badminton, and Bocce to name a few.

All events are held in the following 5-year age groups: 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74; 75-79; 80-84; 85-89, 90-94, 95-99, 100+; for men and women athletes. The Games boast team and individual elite recreational competition with gold, silver and bronze medalists. They hope that you will encourage your family and friends to come and participate.

The SCSSC is the only South Carolina sanctioned event for the National Senior Games Association, a member of the US Olympic Committee, and the qualifying event for the National Senior Games. Compete and win at this open event and you may qualify to represent the State of South Carolina at the National Senior Games in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
